The Integrated Design Project (IDP) is a second year team based project where six students are split into three sub-teams – electrical (my choice), software and mechanics. In this project the sub-teams must design their components and then the team as a whole brings together the completed robot and tests it. There is a testing day where all teams compete against each other. Our robot did very well but unfortunately circumstances on the day meant that it didn’t fulfil its potential.
